Hey Everybody –
Today I wanted to talk to you about a slightly different subscription box – the Julep Maven box! Julep has quickly become one of my favorite nail polishes and I have also really enjoyed a lot of their other beauty products. Their eyeliner is my holy grail (it literally does not move for hours!).
I particularly love this box because you can customize exactly what is inside and you can skip a month whenever you want! A typical Maven subscription is $24.99 (or $19.99 for a pre-paid three month subscription). You can custom create each box with $40+ worth of goodies. I also love that you can add in items to each box for super discounted prices! If you add 3 extras Julep will also throw in a free product!
Here is what I got this month:

Included as part of my Box:
When Pencil met Gel – Blackest Black: I’ve raved about this liner in other posts but it recently came to my attention that I had every color except black! So I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get the black version. I have really watery eyes so I end up looking very raccoon-y with most liners. This one though is AMAZING. It does. not. budge. I highly recommend trying this out if you have had previous problems.
Skip the Brush – Golden Guava: I thought this was a really pretty color and I love multi-use products so I thought I would give this a go. It is a super pretty blush and sheers out really nicely. I have been all about the cream blushes for some reason this summer. I think it is a really pretty lip color as well – happy I tried it out!
Lori (third from the left polish): This polish is described as a sheer/frost marionberry jelly. I think this is such a pretty deep berry color for fall/winter. One of my favorite polish colors for sure.
Add-On Products:
Juliana (first on the left of the polishes): This is described as an iridescent grapefruit and I think it is suuuper pretty. I don’t typically go for iridescent polishes but I think this is such a fun color for summer.
Tiffany (second from the left of the polishes): I think this is a great color really for any season. It is a deep “pink raddish jelly” and I think it is the type of color that no matter what season/outfit you pair it with it will look amazing.
Get in Line – Invisible Lip Liner: I wanted to get this as an addition to my liquid lipsticks. I find some of my more drying lipsticks do better with a liner underneath. I thought having a clear liner would be the perfect way to get a little moisture without altering the true color of the lipstick.
Free Add On!:
Lee (4th from the left polish): I was super excited about this color! It is a great everyday red color that is bright and fun yet classy and polished at the same time. A great addition to any collection!
Let me know if you have any fave Julep products I should try!
