ColourPop Shadow Collection – Review & Swatches

Hi Everybody!

I have been really loving my ColourPop Super Shock Shadow’s recently and I thought I would share my collection with you! I am a huuuge fan of these shadows. The formula is so unique – sort of a mousey cream texture. I think they are the perfect way to add a pop of shimmer to any eye look. As you’ll see in my collection, I am a big fan of their neutral metallic/pearlized finishes.

I find when I apply the shadows with my finger they look best & look the most true to color. I will say I think the satin/pearlized/metallic finishes are the true stars of the ColourPop world. I am not as much a fan of the matte shades, simply because I have a hard time blending them out – so they can look a little muddy on occasion.

If you haven’t tried any – my personal favorite is Lovely! I think for the money, these shadows are amazing. They are some of my favorite day to day shadows when I just want something easy to pop all over my lid.

Let me know what your favorite shades are!

    1. Ahh – that’s a hard one. I really like all of their metallic / pearlized shadows. I typically go for a pretty neutral eye look on the day to day for work & these are so pretty to kinda spice it up without being inappropriate. I think other than lovely, I would recommend Plunge, Smash, and Nillionaire as more of the neutrals. I think for something a little different So Quiche & I heart this are really pretty also! 🙂 hope that helps!
