Today is my birthday (ahh!) and I thought I would share with you the birthday dinner makeup look I wore this weekend.
I kept everything pretty low key and went out to a delishhhh dinner – but ya know – any excuse to glam it up, i’ll take it!

This past weekend my sister and I went to the Taylor Swift concert and omg it was amazing! The crowd was insane and everybody was having a blast.
We threw on a couple of cutesy summer outfits and I obviously had to do a red lip! Overall it was a great night full of singing, dancing, and very sore feet.
This past weekend I got in touch with my inner child and went on a kite flying adventure.
My boyfriend thinks he’s a shark wrangler.
While on our outting, I packed a couple essentials for summertime activities:
A few of my outdoor essentials – Klean Kanteen water bottle, Tiffany Sunglasses, Rebecca Minkoff Sunnies Pouch
Sunglasses: A total must have for any outdoor activity! True story – I got my eyeballs sunburnt once and now have like three pairs of sunglasses stashed away in various locations so it never happens again! These sunglasses are the Tiffany & Co. TF4076 (particularly flattering for round and oval face shapes!). You can find them online here. I just love the teal color :).
Sunglasses Case: I keep my sunglasses safe from scratches in my purse with the suuuuper cute Rebecca Minkoff Sunglass Pouch. I love this case and the fact that it fits so many different styles of sunglasses. You can find this pouch online here (in multiple colors too!).
Water Bottle: I carry my Klean Kanteen everywhere with me. It is so well insulated I can go to sleep with ice cubes in it and they are still there in the morning! It is incredible and as we all know I am a sucker for that teal color! A great way to stay hydrated on the go – and help out the environment too! Sunscreen: I am suuuper pale and burn after about 30 seconds outside so sunscreen is a must for me! I typically make sure all my makeup has sunscreen in it but I love this Dermalogica sunscreen for my body and even for mid-day touchups on my face. Cute Sandals: On our outing I wore a pair of Greek sandals I got on our trip last summer. I love pairing exciting sandals with a simple outfit to add a little fun to the look. I found these fun sandals online while looking at the ModCloth summer sale. They would be so perfect with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and black tee!

I hope you all are having a great weekend! I am getting ready to go out for the night to see a comedy show with my boyfriend and some friends and wanted to jump on here to give you all a quick look at what I’m wearing tonight!
Outfit of the Night – Summertime Casual Date Night (details below)
I decided to do a casual yet fun look for tonight’s outing. I am wearing a new pair of black J brand jeans (got these on HauteLook – go check it out here for great prices on designer brands). These are the Skinny Leg Mid-Rise jeans and they are super comfy! I am always a little wary of buying jeans online but these are very stretchy so they almost feel like you’re wearing leggings (my fave!). I am pairing the jeans with this lacy top by Kimchi Blue that I got at Urban Outfitters. I think this is perfect for the summer heat and adds a feminine touch to the look!
I decided to throw on my favorite Steve Madden peep-toe booties that I got at Nordstrom Rack (another great place to get quality clothes at lower prices!). For my accessories, I am wearing a simple vintage Chanel gold bangle and a purse I got while vacationing in Greece from Axel. I love this bag as a way to add a pop to my outfits and the black and white pattern really goes with a variety of colors / styles.
As for glam, I am throwing on my FAVE perfume – Miss Dior that my boyfriend actually got me for my birthday. I love this scent and find it really suits the summertime. It is fresh sweet with a citrusy jasmine smell. So good! Lastly, I am pulling the look together with a bold lip. This new shade from Estee Lauder is the Kendall Jenner lipstick in the shade Restless. It is the perfect bright red/orange shade for the summer that really flatters a lot of skin tones (it also smells amazing!). It is a matte shade, yet I don’t find the formula too drying. I think this lip is the perfect way to jazz up any look!
